Croatia's extraordinary island-speckled coastline is indisputably its main attraction. Part of the appeal  lies in its diversity. Shift your gaze for just a moment from the glittering waters and chances are an  almighty mountain will loom into view.  

The Dinaric Alps, which stretch all the way from Italy to Albania, hug much of the coast. The  limestone karst has bequeathed a wonderland of craggy peaks, underground caverns, river canyons,  dramatic waterfalls and ridiculously picturesque lakes. Head further inland and things flatten out  again into rolling farmland.  

Simple home-style cooking is a feature of family-run taverns, but increasingly a new breed of chefs  are bringing a more adventurous approach to the table. Meanwhile Croatian wines and olive oils are  making their mark on the world stage, gaining awards.  

Bear On the Beach or shortly BOB, is a DMC, that offers its services in Slovenia and Croatia in Central Europe. Its name was inspired by special and unique characteristics of both destinations, but we also wanted to make it fun and easy to remember.

Jelena is a passionate MICE Project Manager born in Dubrovnik. Having spent most of her career navigating the dynamic world of tourism, she brings a wealth of knowledge in organizing and executing MICE projects.

After studying at the University of Dubrovnik, a series of professional opportunities led her to specialize in Destination Management. Her time in Austria and Malta enriched her global perspective, allowing her to draw on diverse cultures and insights in her professional approach.

Since 2024, Jelena is proud to be part of the dynamic BOB DMC team, where her expertise and passion continue to fuel her excitement for creating unforgettable events. Whether working with corporate clients or exclusive groups, she remains dedicated to delivering high-quality, bespoke travel experiences.
