Maria is a veteran of the MICE industry, being a key member for the past 35 years. Born and studied in Crete she start working in the tourism industry since she was 18 years old. She moved to Germany for a while to gain additional experience and where she was awarded with a scholarship for the Technic University of Berlin. Her passion for Greece brought her back in 1996 and since then she has lived permanently in Athens. After spending several years in big companies in managerial roles she decided to create her own. So towards the end of 2004 she established Event Makers DMC, and is the sole shareholder and Managing Director.
