Renowned for his innovative thinking and creative approach, Mauro boasts a distinguished 24-year tenure in the Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions (MICE) industry. With a robust academic foundation focused on the hospitality sector, Mauro holds licensure as a tourist guide and holds degrees in Sports Events Management, as well as a Masters in Tourism and Hospitality.
In response to the challenges posed by the Covid pandemic, Mauro contributed his expertise as a lecturer at the Institute of Tourism Studies. His involvement extends to significant roles in various lobbying working groups, including serving as the Executive Secretary of Malta's largest Tourism Association, FATTA. Furthermore, Mauro has held the position of President of the Destination Wedding Planners Directorate and has been a dedicated board member of the Gozo Tourism Association.
